Midsole
With the FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO cushioning you experience optimal cushioning with every step you take. The FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO foam is lightweight and provides shock absorption and a responsive feel while running. Furthermore, at least 20% of the foam consists of recycled materials. In addition to the foam in the midsole, ASICS has incorporated its unique gel technology PureGEL™ into this shoe. This gel provides a high degree of comfort, partly due to the shock absorption that reduces the impact on your joints. The gel will provide you with nice cushioning with every step you take during your run. The 4D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™ responds to your body's movements and provides the adaptive support you need. This stability shoe has been specially designed by ASICS to reduce the time you (over)pronate.
Upper
The upper is made of technical knitted mesh. The breathability of the upper keeps your feet comfortable. The upper also consists partly of recycled materials. In this way, among other things, ASICS tries to make its products increasingly sustainable. The bottom of the heel is reinforced while the top of the heel counter remains flexible, soft and comfortable. The advantage of this is that it does not create pressure on your heel bone.

This material has excellent wear resistance. This feature has been improved by adding rubber material that is also used in car tires that require high durability. This makes the outsole three times as durable as a conventional rubber outsole.
